Wow, what a great book! I just got finished with this one and it’s a back to basics edge of your seat thriller. Dean Koontz really knows how to keep you guessing and he doesn’t disappoint in this book.
Billy’s life suddenly changes overnight, when an insidiuos serial killer chooses him as an unwilling participant in his heinous killings. He is forced to make horrible choices and he is physically and mentally tortured during this spiralling trip to hell. Each act worse than the last, Billy struggles to find out who is behind this madness before it’s too late; before it’s his turn to die or worse- before someone he loves is killed. For the impossible tasks before him, Billy must look deep inside himself to find the strength and character needed to survive. It will take all of his wit and experience to overcome the brilliant and evil madman, and it is truly a wild ride to find out if he can. Velocity is aptly named, and certainly kept me guessing until the end.
The characters are deep and believable and the feeling and emotion that comes through in this writing breathes life into each one. This was definitely a treat to read and comes highly recommended! What are you waiting for??
